New condos planned for Browns Bridge Rd.

GAINESVILLE - Plans for a condominium complex west of town go before the Gainesville Planning and Appeals Board next week, where three similar developments already exist.

Brad Abernathy is asking the board to rezone a three-acre site on Browns Bridge Road near Florence Drive.

Abernathy's plans call for 24-26 units with a density of eight per acre.

The planning staff is recommending approval; the board meets Tuesday.
