Red Cross 'Volunteer of the Year'

GAINESVILLE - A Forsyth County woman is Volunteer of the Year for the Northeast Georgia red cross chapter. She is JoAnn Stanton who received the recognition at the chapter's 88th annual meeting.

The Gainesville-based organization, backed by 2,000 volunteers, serves more than half-a-million people in 13 counties.
