ATLANTA - Georgia Department of Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin said today that Harry and David Spiced Apple Almonds and some Honey Dijon dressings bottled by E.D. Smith USA of Pennsylvania have been recalled because they contain unlisted allergens.

The recalled almonds contain undeclared milk products, according to Irvin. The Harry & David almonds recalled are:

*Spiced Apple Almonds in 8-oz. clear plastic bags, tied with a ribbon and with a "Best if used by" date of 07/28/06 in the lower left hand corner, and;
Spiced Apple Almonds in 6-oz. bags in the mail order Harvest Home Collection Basket, item number 6266 with a code of 1815SF in the lower left hand corner.

Irvin says the 16-oz. clear plastic bottles of salad dressings contain undeclared milk and eggs. The two dressings are:

*Classic Sensations Honey Dijon Dressing has UPC 36294-40006 and is marked with use by date code of 08-10 08C, followed by a 4-digit military time stamp, and;
Garden Goodness Honey Dijon Dressing has UPC 36294-10511 and is marked on the back panel with 'use by' codes of 07-15-06 05C, 07-21-06 04/C, 07-25-06 02C, and 08-18-06 02C, followed by a 4-digit military time stamp.

"If our inspectors find any of these products on display for sale, they will place them on withhold for pickup by the distributor or seek voluntary destruction," Irvin said. "Consumers should return the products to the place of purchase for a refund."
