OSHA fines Savannah Construction for trenching hazards in Cumming

ATLANTA - OSHA has fined a Savannah company $125,000 for trenching hazards at construction sites in Cumming.

OSHA says Savannah Construction Company was cited after it failed to heed warnings about unsafe conditions at residential building sites on Hopewell Church Road in Cumming.

The federal agency says it found inadequate trench cave-in protection during three inspections last year between August 29 and September 13.
