COMMERCE - Whisperin' Bill Anderson makes his l0th annual appearance in his "adopted" hometown of Commerce June 22-23, when he returns there as host of the annual City Lights Festival.

Missing this year will be the outdoor concert which has been a mainstay of the festival over the years.

Instead, Anderson and fellow country music singers George Hamilton the Fourth and Mark Wills and country comedian James Gregory will, howwever, appear inside the Commerce Civic Center at a dinner and luncheon.

Organizers opted out of the concert this year because, they say, it was a financial drag on the festival.
