Police say the arrest resulted from an ongoing undercover investigation.
They say William Wesley Franse of Knoxville thought he was speaking to a 15-year-old girl over the computer, when, in fact, it was a Gainesville Police investigator.
Officers say Franse drove to Gainesville to meet the "girl" for the purpose of having sex with her. He faces computer pornography charges.
