Forsyth imposes residential rezoning moratorium

CUMMING - The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners is putting the brakes on residential development - at least temporarily.

Commissioners had been expected to enact a 180-day ban and Thursday night did not rule out the possibility of a 90-day extension.

Commissioners say the county needs more time for an infrastructure study and review of its Unified Development Code.
