Dozen score in Bulldogs exhibition opener

ATHENS - Sundiata Gaines scored 15 points and all 12 Georgia players scored as the Bulldogs cruised to a 90-56 victory over Clayton State in an exhibition game Friday night.

Billy Humphrey and Troy Brewer each added 14 for the Bulldogs who never trailed in the game. Georgia had a 40-24 lead at the half.

Bernard Fields led Clayton State with 14 points and Brian Kelly and Ricky Garrett each added 11. Kelly also had 8 rebounds, most by any player in the game.
