Thieves targeting daycare moms

CUMMING - Police from 10 different north Georgia law enforcment agencies - including Forsyth County - are looking for a Decatur couple they say is targeting mothers dropping off children at daycare centers.

You've probably done this yourself: you're hurrying to work..you run in with your child..a quick word with the staff, a hug and back to the car. more than 40 women who have done that have had their purses stolen from their cars.

"We suspect that once the information is completely compiled, we'll identify another 20 to 30 victims," according to investigator Terry Hawkins with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.

Hawkins tells Fox 5 News there's lookout for Larry Dorsey and Makita Malone. Hawkins says each was spotted on store surveillance video using credit cards stolen in the thefts.
