ATHENS - Six straight points by Terrance Woodbury early in the second half helped break open a tight game and boost Georgia to a decisive 72-50 win over Wake Forest in a non-conference basketball game Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs (6-1) won despite committing a season-high 26 turnovers. Only eight of those, however, came in the second half. They won this game with superior shooting
