PERRY - Lake Lanier is getting one of ten "mega-ramps" as part of the Go Fish Georgia program, according to an announcement from Gov. Perdue Friday.

At a news conference in Perry, Perdue announced the locations for the Go Fish Georgia Center and Hatchery - it will be in Perry, as expected - and the ten sites across the state for mega-ramps to be built on lakes and rivers.

The "mega-ramps" will be built to accommodate large fishing tournaments. Lanier's will be constructed at Laurel Park, using Go Fish Georgia funds to match local financial and in-kind contributions for construction.
