Kiwanis president promising major announcement

GAINESVILLE - The president of the Gainesville Kiwanis Club is promising an announcement Tuesday about &#34;an ambitious project that will take the club to the next level of community service.&#34; <br> <br> Ellen DeFoor is keeping mum about her plans - as are the few in the club who know about them. <br> <br> &#34;The mission of the Kiwanis Club of Gainesville is to change the world, by starting the change in our own community,&#34; DeFoor said. &#34;We&#39;ve been doing that, and now we&#39;re going to the next level.&#34;<br> <br> DeFoor&#39;s announcement will come at the end of the club&#39;s regular weekly meeting at the Gainesville Civic Center.<br> <br>
