CHARLESTON, S.C. - Gainesville native Jamarco Warren hit eight 3-points and finished with 26 points but it was not enough to lift Charleston Southern past VMI Saturday.

Travis Holmes hit two free throws with two seconds left in overtime to give a 93-91 in Big South Conference action.

The Keydets (9-6, 1-0 Big South) got 30 points from Reggie Williams and 22 points, including six 3-pointers, from Chavis Holmes, Travis' twin brother. Austin Kenon had 17 points, including five from long range. Travis Holmes finished with 16.

The Buccaneers (6-10, 0-1) trailed by as many as 14 in the first half and by 10 with 9:46 left in regulation when Travis Holmes hit a 3-pointer to put VMI up 64-54.

Charleston Southern went on a 17-7 run, in which Chris Moore hit three of his eight 3-pointers, to tie the game at 71 with 4:54 left in the game. Moore finished with 28 points.

Omar Carter had 17 for Charleston Southern, including a layup with 1:07 left in regulation to tie the game at 80.

VMI led much of the overtime, but the Buccaneers took at two-point lead with just 36 second left when Moore made a free throw. Williams tied the game 11 seconds later on a layup and Austin Johnson fouled Travis Holmes on a rebound with just two seconds left.
