FLOWERY BRANCH - Homeowners in the giant master-planned community Sterling on the Lake expressed concerns Thursday night at a meeting in Flowery Branch over plans to add a 4-acre commercial component to the development.
They spoke out at a hearing on the proposal at Flowery Branch City Hall.
They got assurance from Newland Communities Vice President Patrick Clark that the segment would add, not detract, from Sterling.
City Planner James Riker said it has to meet design conditions.
