Annual city council retreat begins today

GAINESVILLE - Gainesville City Council members and other city officials are packing their bags for the start of a three-day retreat in the northeast Georgia mountains today.

The annual getaway is being held at Brasstown Valley Resort near Young Harris.

It begins at 1:00 this afternoon and continues through noon Saturday.
