DAHLONEGA - Two Northeast Georgia men have been arrested for the July 3 burglary of a Lumpkin County convenience store.

Lumpkin County Sheriff's officials said Taft Dwayne Gilreath of Dahlonega and Jeremiah Austin Cochran of Jasper are accused of stealing a number of scratch off lottery tickets from the BP store on Highway 60 at Seven Mile Hill Road.

Authorities said the two did cash in some of the winning tickets before the Georgia Lottery Commission could deactivate them.
