CLEVELAND - Authorities have released the name of the Truett McConnell College student who was found dead in a campus dormitory Tuesday morning.

White County Coroner Rickey Barrett said the body of 20-year-old Jareda Boddie was found by her roommate around 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Barrett said the body has been sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab for an autopsy.

Cleveland Police Chief John Foster said there is no indication that the death was caused by anything other than natural causes. He also said the student had a history of medical illness.

College officials issued a statement saying the cause of death "appears to be medically related." Grief counselors are working with students on campus.
