Meanwhile, Pickens claimed both individual titles in the meet.
In the boys' race, The Dragons' Tyler Dunn held off North Hall runners Nolan Clark and Ty McCormack with a winning time of 16:27. Clark finished in 16:47
and McCormack finished with a time of 16:55.
In the team competition, the North Hall boys (50) held off host West Hall (60) and Gainesvile (98), as the only teams to finish with less than 100 points. Pickens was fourth and West Forsyth fifth.
In the girls race, Sarah Turner of Pickens posted a winning time of 19:14 to beat a pair of West Forsyth runners -- Taylor Roeck (19:31) and Kat Gibson (19:49) for the individsual title.
West Forsyth ran away from the field with just 45 points. Chestatee took second with 69 points and North Hall was third with 98 points. Pickens was fourth and host West Hall was fifth.
