GAINESVILLE - The students and teachers were the stars Tuesday in a documentary being filmed at Gainesville's Enota Elementary School for a foundation created by filmmaker George Lucas.

No, they're not shooting another episode of 'Star Wars' the 1970's Sci-Fi outer space classic that made Lucas famous.

Lucas founded 'Edutopia' to draw attention to successful programs in public education, programs like Enota's 'Smartville' according to Edutopia staff writer Sara Bernard from California.

"We're here at Enota to put together a big package for Edutopia, our magazine and our web site, (edutopia.org) on multiple intelligences in public education and how it's evolved over the years," Bernard said.

Bernard's story about Enota comes out in the April/May edition of Edutopia.

"It's about what is happening at this school and how they make it work," Bernard added.â
They spent two days interviewing teachers, staff and parents, filming classes including a visit to Enota’s MI Fair Tuesday night
