GAINESVILLE - Hall County Sheriff's deputies, the State Patrol and school transportation officials had a busy morning for awhile at Atlanta Highway and Memorial Park Road with a head-on collision between two county school buses.

The collision occurred when one of the buses was attempting a turn onto Memorial Park Road.

State Trooper David Herring said it could have been a lot worse.

"It was a head on collision, there were three complaint injuries, nobody was transported to the hospital," Herring said.

"We had some complaints, EMT's have checked them all out, we've taken them all to school," Operations Director Jewel Armour said.

The accident occurred shortly after 7:00 a.m.; Atlanta Highway was closed for about an hour until the buses could be removed.
