CONYERS - Habersham Central closed out its up-and-down season Friday night with a downer against Salem.

The Raiders were held to season-low 51 total yards in a 21-7, Region 8-AAAA loss in their season finale.

The only Habersham score came on a short 24-yard drive following a fumble recovery in the second quarter.

The Raiders, who finished the season 4-6 after losing four of their last five games, trailed just 14-7 at halftime despite the rough night offensively. They were shutout in the second half as the Seminoles clamped down on Kevin Ellison and the Habersham running game.

Ellison finished with just 4 yards on 12 carries for the game as the Raiders were held to minus-7 rushing for the game.

Quarterback Austin brown did not fare much better going 6-of-14 passing for just 58 yards and two interceptions.
