GAINESVILLE - Two Flowery Branch men have been arrested and charged with the burglary of a vacant home in the Mundy Mill Development.

Gainesville Police Lt. Carol Martin said the pair were surprised by authorities from the city police department and the Hall County Sheriff's Department on Tuesday, November 10.

"Items left at the scene lead investigators to identify these two persons involved," said Martin.

Brian Wofford, 34, and Terrence Edward Higgins, 52, both of Flowery Branch, were arrested Wednesday, November 11 and taken to the Hall County Detention Center.

Martin said Wofford and Higgins are accused of stealing fixtures, copper wire and other items that could be taken to salvage yards and sold.
