GAINESVILLE - For the 20th year on Thanksgiving Day in Gainesville, the Good News at Noon shelter made sure disadvantaged people had a good holiday meal.
Good News founder Gene Beckstein said around 200 volunteers served about 300 people. He said there were many 'first timers' because of the economy.
