Tree lighting starts Flowery Branch Christmas

FLOWERY BRANCH - You can tell when Christmas begins in Flowery Branch; there is singing at City Hall and the Great Tree lights up on Thanksgiving night.

Flowery Branch families are willing to put up with the late autumn chill to be on hand to witness the arrival of Yule Tide in their town with the lighting of that tall artificial tree behind City Hall

On cue the great tree spread its magical light across the bundled up crowd as Janice Bryans sang “O Holy Night”
