OAKWOOD - Jack and Joyce Orr of 4503 Oak St. in Oakwood moved into a new home Friday afternoon thanks to a lot of friends and local agencies including Habitat for Humanity and the City of Oakwood.
Their old house at the corner of Academy Street and Oak Street was in poor condition and beyond repair.

â
Orr, a disabled Vietnam War veteran, and his wife, Joyce, received the key to their new home and entered the front door
Habitat for Humanity and America’s Home Place built the house; United Community Bank worked with the Orrs to consolidate their loans and provide financial counseling
