Hall Commission wants I-985 annexation hearing

GAINESVILLE - Hall County Commissioners said Monday they want a public hearing next month on a proposed annexation of a section of I-985 into the City of Gainesville.
Chairman Tom Oliver called for the hearing at the next regular commission meeting after Commissioner Bobby Banks called for Commission support of his opposition to the annexation by the city police department, claiming it would set up a speed trap.
