"Dealing with the drought is a lot worse," said Steve Murray with New Leaf Landscape.
Murray said his crews had to stay home two days last week and then had to curtail work on several other days while the rain fell.
"I'd rather have the water than the drought," Murray said. "With the drought, things don't grow, customers don't want to do any landscaping and the plants get a lot more unhealthy."
He said his crews are paying particular attention to trees that may be in danger of falling because of soggy ground.
