GAINESVILLE - A Democratic candidate who formally announced for election Friday night in Gainesville to the Congressional 9th District said he can get along with everybody.

Longtime local Democrat Mike Freeman told a room full of supporters that as a former Episcopal minister and Naval Reserve chaplain he has learned how to get along.
