Hall Commission holds off on local ethics amendments

GAINESVILLE - Hall County Commissioners Thursday night agreed to hold off adopting on first reading their own ethics code revisions after hearing they were at best vague and at worst, unconstitutional and unenforceable. The critique came from ethics advocate Doug Aiken, president of the Hall County Tax Payers Association...for instance, how could a commissioner accidentally violate the code? Aiken asked.
