Mayor breaks tie to fix narrow road in Flowery Branch

FLOWERY BRANCH - Flowery Branch Mayor Diane Hirling rarely gets to break a tie vote, but she did Thursday night after Council tied over whether to move ahead with a low cost option to fix Jones Road and relieve traffic pressure for Tidewater Cove subdivision residents.

Council had two options; the â
It calls for improving Jones Road from Mitchell Street to Lorimar Court and making it one way.It calls for improving Jones Road from Mitchell Street to Lorimar Court and making it one way
Yardley, who lives in Tidewater Cove, said he was ready for the beginning of a solution
Jones was one of the residents who appeared before Council during their work session, asking them to do something
