PSC Approves Natural Gas Expansion In White County

(ATLANTA)- The Georgia Public Service Commission has given Atlanta Gas Light Company the green light to move forward with the development of a strategic corridor designed to  extend natural gas service to White  County.  The Commission last Thursday  passed a motion by Commissioner Doug Everett to approve the projects here and another project  in Bryan County under the AGLC Strategic Infrastructure Development and Enhancement Program, known as STRIDE, and the Integrated System Reinforcement Program.  

The projects are designed to extend natural gas service to areas currently not served and to promote economic development in those areas.  White County Economic Development Director Tom Oâ
