Cliff Hood Steps Down From BOE Board

(Cleveland)- Long time White County School Board  member Cliff Hood of Helen has resigned his position on the board.   He made the announcement to the board Thursday.   Hood who decided not to seek re-election this year told us he has the opportunity to work with a company that  deals  with some school boards around the state and did not want to create any type of conflict of interest. 
Hood has served on the board for 23 and a half years and he told us he really has enjoyed it.   Hoodâ
