Election Superintendent Garrison Baker has said it would possibly be Friday before the results have been certified and then Nonnemaker would have two days to submit his request in writing.
Nonnemaker told us he might have lost the election, but he's still going to be
involved helping the commissioners on different projects and helping to educate and inform the citizens.
Results from Tuesday balloting for the two Republican runoff races in White County has Craig Bryant winning the District 4 contest and Terry Goodger taking the top spot in district 1. Final but unofficial results show Bryant with 50-point 47 percent of the votes to Chris Nonnemaker 49.53 percent. Total vote count for Bryant 649, Nonnemaker 637. Terry Goodger received 58.4 percent of the votes to Jerry Nicholson's 41-point 6 percent. The vote count for Goodger 490, Nicholson 349. Goodger still faces an Democratic and independent challenge in the November General Election.
