Jackson County emergency units responded to a call just after 9:30 Thursday morning and found a person trapped under a truck which had been hauling a bulldozer. That person, a male, was pulled from underneath the wreckage, but was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities spent four hours at the scene of the accident. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office, Jackson County Coroner's Office and OSHA continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
There's no word yet on the identity of the victim.
