Forsyth County deputies identified the victim as Grady R. Chapman. He was traveling northbound on Highway 141 when his vehicle was hit by another vehicle turning left at the intersection of Sharon Road. That vehicle was driven by Catherine A. Hoover, 60, of Suwanee.
The impact caused Chapman's vehicle to hit a curb and then overturn down an embankment. He was pronounced dead at the accident scene. A passenger in Chapman's car sustained minor injuries.
Hoover suffered no injuries and has been charged with second degree vehicular homicide and failure to yield.
