GAINESVILLE - Hall County's farm families drew annual recognition Monday at the Gainesville Rotary Club meeting.

Interim Hall County Extension Service Director Gene Anderson made the announcements.

Allen and Doris Conner, who own a North Hall hay and cattle farm that emphasizes conservation and good landscaping, received the Dr. Hugh Mills Conservation Farm Family Farm award.

Full Bloom Nursery, owned and operated by Tim and Kellie Bowen, was named the Rotary Farm Family of the Year.

Full Bloom Nursery began operation in 2003 on what was already a successful cattle and horse farm with hay production. The business covers four acres of green houses and nursery stock producing decorative and food plants including perennials, landscaping, shrubs and trees.
