CLEVELAND -  Fire officials now say the two fires last week on Hood Street in Cleveland were deliberately set and a $10,000 reward is being offered.

Cleveland Fire Chief Ricky Pruitt said previously investigators using, among other things, an arson-trained dog, spent several hours Thursday looking for the cause.

Pruitt said he still can't release details of the investigation, but if anyone has information about the fires they can contact the Georgia Arson Hot Line at 800-282-5804.

According to Pruitt, a $10,000 reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the fires. You can also contact the Cleveland Police Department at 706-865-2111 and you can remain anonymous.

The fires occurred last Monday. The first, early in the day, was in a clothes dryer; the second, nine hours later, was in another part of the house.
