GAINESVILLE - A pilot coalition to deal with prescription drug abuse got its start Tuesday at Northeast Georgia Medical Center

It is the beginning of a statewide program according to co-chair Dr. Joy Maxey

Governor Nathan Deal said the program had legislative support from the recently passed Senate Bill 36
