Atlanta TV anchor arrested on DUI charges

ATLANTA - An Atlanta television news anchor was arrested over the weekend and charged with DUI after she was involved in a wrong way accident in Atlanta.

Authorities say Amanda Davis from Fox 5 was arrested after she hit a car while driving northbound in the southbound lane of Piedmont Avenue just after 12:00 Sunday morning.

Fox 5 management issued a statement saying the TV station is aware of the charges and they are investigating.
