FLOWERY BRANCH - A Lawrenceville motorcycle operator was killed late last week when he ran through a roadcheck that the Georgia State Patrol was operating in south Hall County.

The Georgia State Patrol said Joshua Clark, 29, crashed his motorcycle into another vehicle around 9:50 Friday night on Old Hog Mountain Road.

The occupants of the vehicle, a 2005 Mazada, were identified as Patricia Ann Oropeza, 56, from Buford and a passenger, Joseph Oropeza, age 12, also from Buford. They were checked at the scene for injuries.

Troopers said Clark did run through the roadcheck, but they said they did not chase him and didn't make contact with the motorcycle until they were called to the crash site.
