Wrapping paper, gift boxes can be recycled in Hall Co.

GAINESVILLE - Once the Christmas gifts are unwrapped, that wrapping paper and many other items used during the holiday season can be recycled in Hall County.

Wrapping paper, holiday cards, paper gift bags and cardboard boxes can all be dropped off at the Hall County Recycling Center on Chestnut Street in Gainesville or at any of Hall County's 12 compactor sites, keeping that trash away from Hall County's landfill.

But compactor sites will be closed all day Christmas Day. They will re-open at the regular time on Wednesday morning.
