The latest incident happened Tuesday night when Sylvia Junn shot her husband and another woman in the parking lot of a Duluth law firm where all three worked. Gwinnett police said Junn then shot and killed herself. Charles Junn died, while the other woman is hospitalized in critical condition, according to police.
Investigators said they uncovered reports that Charles Junn and the injured woman had had an affair at one time.
Travis Kim, with the Korean American Association of Greater Atlanta, said this incident and two others in Gwinnett County in recent months are shocking.
"I don't know why that these kind of tragic incidents are happening," he said. Kim spoke with Atlanta's Channel 2 Action News.
The other incidents involved a mass shooting at a spa in Norcross in Feburary and the stabbing of a man outside at Duluth night club in December.
