ATLANTA (AP) A judge has denied bond for a youth softball coach who was charge with sending sexually suggestive text messages to an underage former player.

The Fulton County judge denied 35-year-old Robert Keith Payne a $10,000 bond on Friday.

Payne was charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes for sending several inappropriate text messages to a 15-year-old girl.

Milton police say the girl once played for Payne on the Georgia Stealth traveling softball team. Police say she alerted them to the messages last week.

According to the Stealth website, the team is comprised of girls 14 and under and travel across the country to play in tournaments.

Payne was arrested Thursday at his Cumming home. He was being held at the Fulton County Jail.
