MURRAYVILLE - Hall County authorities confirm another case of rabies in the county, this time in the Murrayville area.

Animal control officers say the skunk came into contact with two dogs on Tony Peck Road. The animal was shipped to the Georgia Public Health Lab - Virology Section in Decatur. Officials there confirmed Tuesday that the skunk tested positive for rabies.

This is the 17th confirmed case of 2012.

Positive alert signs will be posted in the area where the rabid skunk was located.
