Rabun County and Commerce are now receiving votes in Classes AA and A, respectively.
Mill Creek dropped out of the Class AAAAAA poll after falling to Norcross this past Friday. The Hawks (3-2, 1-2 Region 7-AAAAAA) are still receiving votes, however, considering that their two defeats have come against top 10 foes by a combined 15 points. North Gwinnett (4-0, 2-0) is still No. 1 in Class AAAAAA.
In Class AAAAA, Gainesville remained at No. 5. The Red Elephants (4-1, 3-0 Region 8-AAAAA) face Cedar Shoals (0-5, 0-3) at home on Friday.
In Class AAA, Buford is still atop the rankings. The Wolves (4-0, 1-0 Region 7-AAA) travel to face a surging West Hall (3-1, 2-0) on Friday. Fellow 7-AAA foe North Hall also remained No. 4. The Trojans (4-0, 1-0) will play host to East Hall (3-2, 0-2) on Friday at The Brickyard.
In Class AA, Jefferson held at seventh. The Dragons (3-1, 1-0 Region 8-AA) travel to take on No. 5 Washington-Wilkes (5-0, 2-0) on Friday. Rabun County (4-0, 1-0) was just three votes from making the poll.
