Buford City employees to get 3-percent salary increase

BUFORD - City of Buford employees got some good news from Buford City Commissioners Monday night in the form of a cost of living increase.

According to the Gwinnett Daily Post, commissioners approved the three-percent increase and made it retroactive to the start of the current fiscal year on July 1.

Employees will get a check with the retroactive amount and then see the increase on their regular paychecks through the end of the fiscal year.
