16 year old Cheyanne N. Hair was found in her home on 1127 Winder Highway in Jefferson last night around 9:45 and was taken to Athens Regional Medical Center, where she later died.
The Jefferson Police Department, Georgia Bureau of Investigations (GBI) and the Jackson County Sheriff's Office are jointly investigating the death; Hair's body has been sent to the GBI crime lab for an autopsy.
