Historic Joseph Habersham home catches fire

GAINESVILLE - Habersham County and Clarkesville firefighters were on the scene of a chimney fire at the historic Joseph Habersham summer home on Hollywood Highway Monday evening.

Initial reports indicated the fire was contained to the chimney of the house.

Damage to the home was minimal, according to the latest available reports.
