DOT releases list of road resurfacing projects for northeast Georgia

ATLANTA - If you look at the projects on the docket for the state Department of Transportation, then you'll see that plenty of roadwork is planned across northeast Georgia in the coming months.

The DOT released a list of projects Monday morning, that includes millions of dollars worth of road resurfacing across the area.

According to the project list, the DOT will spend almost $10.5 to resurface almost 55 miles worth of roads in Franklin, Hart, Habersham, Stephens and White counties.

In addition to the resurfacing projects, the DOT will upgrade traffic signals along State Routes 15 and 11 in Jackson County.
