Man killed in workshop accident

DAWSONVILLE- Authorities say large machinery caused the death of a 60-year-old man in north Georgia over the weekend.

Jack "Red" Young was killed around 3 p.m. Saturday at his shop in downtown Dawsonville, according to authorities.

Dawson County Emergency Services Director Billy Thurmond said the accident involved a Bobcat and it appeared that Young became trapped in the machinery.
